# Quran 10:42 — Surah Yunus (Jonah), Verse 42

وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَسۡتَمِعُونَ إِلَيۡكَۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ وَلَوۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ یَّسْتَمِعُوْنَ اِلَیْكَ اَفَاَنْتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُوْا لَا یَعْقِلُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa minhum mai yastami'oona iliak; afa anta tusmi'us summa wa law kaanoo laa ya'qiloon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Among them are some who (pretend to) listen to thee: But canst thou make the deaf to hear,- even though they are without understanding?
