# Quran 11:102 — Surah Hud (Hud), Verse 102

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَخۡذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَآ أَخَذَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَهِيَ ظَٰلِمَةٌۚ إِنَّ أَخۡذَهُۥٓ أَلِيمٞ شَدِيدٌ

وَكَذٰلِكَ اَخْذُ رَبِّكَ اِذَاۤ اَخَذَ الْقُرٰی وَهِیَ ظَالِمَةٌ اِنَّ اَخْذَهٗۤ اَلِیْمٌ شَدِیْدٌ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa kazaalika akhzu Rabbika izaaa akhazal quraa wa hiya zaalimah; inna akhzahooo aleemun shadeed

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Such is the chastisement of thy Lord when He chastises communities in the midst of their wrong: grievous, indeed, and severe is His chastisement.
