# Quran 11:49 — Surah Hud (Hud), Verse 49

تِلۡكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ نُوحِيهَآ إِلَيۡكَۖ مَا كُنتَ تَعۡلَمُهَآ أَنتَ وَلَا قَوۡمُكَ مِن قَبۡلِ هَٰذَاۖ فَٱصۡبِرۡۖ إِنَّ ٱلۡعَٰقِبَةَ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ

تِلْكَ مِنْ اَنْۢبَآءِ الْغَیْبِ نُوْحِیْهَاۤ اِلَیْكَ مَا كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُهَاۤ اَنْتَ وَلَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ هٰذَا فَاصْبِرْ اِنَّ الْعَاقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَ 

## Transliteration
Tilka min ambaaa'il ghaibi nooheehaaa ilaika maa kunta ta'lamuhaaaa anta wa laa qawmuka min qabli haazaa fasbir innal 'aaqibata lilmuttaqeen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Such are some of the stories of the unseen, which We have revealed unto thee: before this, neither thou nor thy people knew them. So persevere patiently: for the End is for those who are righteous.
