# Quran 11:54 — Surah Hud (Hud), Verse 54

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
إِن نَّقُولُ إِلَّا ٱعۡتَرَىٰكَ بَعۡضُ ءَالِهَتِنَا بِسُوٓءٖۗ قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ وَٱشۡهَدُوٓاْ أَنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تُشۡرِكُونَ

اِنْ نَّقُوْلُ اِلَّا اعْتَرٰىكَ بَعْضُ اٰلِهَتِنَا بِسُوْٓءٍ قَالَ اِنِّیْۤ اُشْهِدُ اللّٰهَ وَاشْهَدُوْۤا اَنِّیْ بَرِیْٓءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
In naqoolu illa' taraaka ba'du aalihatinaa bisooo'; qaala inneee ushhidul laaha wash hadooo annee bareee'um mimmaa tushrikoon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> "We say nothing but that (perhaps) some of our gods may have seized thee with imbecility." He said: "I call Allah to witness, and do ye bear witness, that I am free from the sin of ascribing, to Him,
