# Quran 13:30 — Surah Ar-Ra'd (The Thunder), Verse 30

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
كَذَٰلِكَ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ فِيٓ أُمَّةٖ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهَآ أُمَمٞ لِّتَتۡلُوَاْ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ وَهُمۡ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ قُلۡ هُوَ رَبِّي لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ وَإِلَيۡهِ مَتَابِ

كَذٰلِكَ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ فِیْۤ اُمَّةٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهَاۤ اُمَمٌ لِّتَتْلُوَاۡ عَلَیْهِمُ الَّذِیْۤ اَوْحَیْنَاۤ اِلَیْكَ وَهُمْ یَكْفُرُوْنَ بِالرَّحْمٰنِ قُلْ هُوَ رَبِّیْ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ عَلَیْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَاِلَیْهِ مَتَابِ ۟

## Transliteration
Kazaalika arsalnaaka feee ummatin qad khalat min qablihaaa umamul litatluwa 'alaihimul lazeee awhainaaa ilaika wa hum yakfuroona bir Rahmaaan; qul Huwa Rabbee laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa 'alaihi tawakkaltu wa ilaihi mataab

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Thus have we sent thee amongst a People before whom (long since) have (other) Peoples (gone and) passed away; in order that thou mightest rehearse unto them what We send down unto thee by inspiration; yet do they reject (Him), the Most Gracious! Say: "He is my Lord! There is no god but He! On Him is my trust, and to Him do I turn!"
