# Quran 17:22 — Surah Al-Isra' (The Night Journey), Verse 22

لَّا تَجۡعَلۡ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَقۡعُدَ مَذۡمُومٗا مَّخۡذُولٗا

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
لَا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ فَتَقْعُدَ مَذْمُوْمًا مَّخْذُوْلًا 

## Transliteration
Laa taj'al ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhara fataq'uda mazoomam makhzoolaa

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Take not with Allah another object of worship; or thou (O man!) wilt sit in disgrace and destitution.
