# Quran 17:99 — Surah Al-Isra' (The Night Journey), Verse 99

۞ أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخۡلُقَ مِثۡلَهُمۡ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمۡ أَجَلٗا لَّا رَيۡبَ فِيهِ فَأَبَى ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ إِلَّا كُفُورٗا

اَوَلَمْ یَرَوْا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ الَّذِیْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ قَادِرٌ عَلٰۤی اَنْ یَّخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمْ اَجَلًا لَّا رَیْبَ فِیْهِ فَاَبَی الظّٰلِمُوْنَ اِلَّا كُفُوْرًا ۟

## Transliteration
Awalam yaraw annal laahal lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda qaadirun 'alaaa any yakhluqa mislahum wa ja'ala lahum ajalal laa raiba fee; fa abaz zaalimoona illaa kufooraa

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> See they not that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, has power to create the like of them (anew)? Only He has decreed a term appointed, of which there is no doubt. But the unjust refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude.
