# Quran 18:12 — Surah Al-Kahf (The Cave), Verse 12

ثُمَّ بَعَثۡنَٰهُمۡ لِنَعۡلَمَ أَيُّ ٱلۡحِزۡبَيۡنِ أَحۡصَىٰ لِمَا لَبِثُوٓاْ أَمَدٗا

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
ثُمَّ بَعَثْنٰهُمْ لِنَعْلَمَ اَیُّ الْحِزْبَیْنِ اَحْصٰی لِمَا لَبِثُوْۤا اَمَدًا 

## Transliteration
Summa ba'asnaahum lina'lama ayyul hizbaini ahsaa limaa labisooo amadaa

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Then We roused them, in order to test which of the two parties was best at calculating the term of years they had tarried!
