# Quran 19:16 — Surah Maryam (Mary), Verse 16

وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مَرۡيَمَ إِذِ ٱنتَبَذَتۡ مِنۡ أَهۡلِهَا مَكَانٗا شَرۡقِيّٗا

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
وَاذْكُرْ فِی الْكِتٰبِ مَرْیَمَ اِذِ انْتَبَذَتْ مِنْ اَهْلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرْقِیًّا ۟

## Transliteration
Wazkur fil Kitaabi Maryama; izin tabazat min ahlihaa makaanan sharqiyyaa

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East.
