# Quran 19:35 — Surah Maryam (Mary), Verse 35

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٖۖ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥٓۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمۡرٗا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
مَا كَانَ لِلّٰهِ اَنْ یَّتَّخِذَ مِنْ وَّلَدٍ سُبْحٰنَهٗ اِذَا قَضٰۤی اَمْرًا فَاِنَّمَا یَقُوْلُ لَهٗ كُنْ فَیَكُوْنُ ۟

## Transliteration
Maa kaana lillaahi ai yattakhiza minw waladin Subhaanah; izaa qadaaa amran fa innamaa yaqoolu lahoo kun fa yakoon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.
