# Quran 2:129 — Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Verse 129

رَبَّنَا وَٱبۡعَثۡ فِيهِمۡ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِیْهِمْ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْهُمْ یَتْلُوْا عَلَیْهِمْ اٰیٰتِكَ وَیُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَیُزَكِّیْهِمْ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَكِیْمُ 

## Transliteration
Rabbanaa wab'as feehim Rasoolam minhum yatloo 'alaihim aayaatika wa yu'allimuhumul Kitaaba wal Hikmata wa yuzakkeehim; innaka Antal 'Azeezul Hakeem

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> "Our Lord! send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in scripture and wisdom, and sanctify them: For Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
