# Quran 2:135 — Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Verse 135

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
وَقَالُواْ كُونُواْ هُودًا أَوۡ نَصَٰرَىٰ تَهۡتَدُواْۗ قُلۡ بَلۡ مِلَّةَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ حَنِيفٗاۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
وَقَالُوْا كُوْنُوْا هُوْدًا اَوْ نَصٰرٰی تَهْتَدُوْا قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ اِبْرٰهٖمَ حَنِیْفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِیْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa qaaloo koonoo Hoodan aw Nasaaraa tahtadoo; qul bal Millata Ibraaheema Haneefanw wa maa kaana minal mushrikeen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> They say: "Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (To salvation)." Say thou: "Nay! (I would rather) the Religion of Abraham the True, and he joined not gods with Allah."
