# Quran 2:204 — Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Verse 204

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُعۡجِبُكَ قَوۡلُهُۥ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَيُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا فِي قَلۡبِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ ٱلۡخِصَامِ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ یُّعْجِبُكَ قَوْلُهٗ فِی الْحَیٰوةِ الدُّنْیَا وَیُشْهِدُ اللّٰهَ عَلٰی مَا فِیْ قَلْبِهٖ وَهُوَ اَلَدُّ الْخِصَامِ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa minan naasi mai yu'jibuka qawluhoo fil hayaatid dunyaa wa yushhidul laaha 'alaa maa fee qalbihee wa huwa aladdulkhisaam

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> There is the type of man whose speech about this world's life May dazzle thee, and he calls Allah to witness about what is in his heart; yet is he the most contentious of enemies.
