# Quran 2:207 — Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Verse 207

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشۡرِي نَفۡسَهُ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ مَرۡضَاتِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ یَّشْرِیْ نَفْسَهُ ابْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّٰهِ وَاللّٰهُ رَءُوْفٌۢ بِالْعِبَادِ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa minan naasi mai yashree nafsahub tighaaa'a mardaatil laah; wallaahu ra'oofum bil'ibaad

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> And there is the type of man who gives his life to earn the pleasure of Allah: And Allah is full of kindness to (His) devotees.
