# Quran 2:27 — Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Verse 27

ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهۡدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقۡطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفۡسِدُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ

الَّذِیْنَ یَنْقُضُوْنَ عَهْدَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِیْثَاقِهٖ وَیَقْطَعُوْنَ مَاۤ اَمَرَ اللّٰهُ بِهٖۤ اَنْ یُّوْصَلَ وَیُفْسِدُوْنَ فِی الْاَرْضِ اُولٰٓىِٕكَ هُمُ الْخٰسِرُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Allazeena yanqudoona 'ahdal laahi mim ba'di meesaaqihee wa yaqta'oona maaa amaral laahu biheee ai yoosala wa yufsidoona fil ard; ulaaa'ika humul khaasiroon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Those who break Allah's Covenant after it is ratified, and who sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth: These cause loss (only) to themselves.
