# Quran 2:72 — Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Verse 72

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
وَإِذۡ قَتَلۡتُمۡ نَفۡسٗا فَٱدَّٰرَٰءۡتُمۡ فِيهَاۖ وَٱللَّهُ مُخۡرِجٞ مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡتُمُونَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
وَاِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسًا فَادّٰرَءْتُمْ فِیْهَا وَاللّٰهُ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا كُنْتُمْ تَكْتُمُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa iz qataltum nafsan faddaara'tum feehaa wallaahu mukhrijum maa kuntum taktumoon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Remember ye slew a man and fell into a dispute among yourselves as to the crime: But Allah was to bring forth what ye did hide.
