# Quran 2:88 — Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Verse 88

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
وَقَالُواْ قُلُوبُنَا غُلۡفُۢۚ بَل لَّعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ فَقَلِيلٗا مَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
وَقَالُوْا قُلُوْبُنَا غُلْفٌ بَلْ لَّعَنَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَقَلِیْلًا مَّا یُؤْمِنُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa qaaloo quloobunaa ghulf; bal la'anahumul laahu bikufrihim faqaleelam maa yu'minoon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> They say, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word: we need no more)." Nay, Allah's curse is on them for their blasphemy: Little is it they believe.
