# Quran 2:9 — Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Verse 9

يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَمَا يَخۡدَعُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَمَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
یُخٰدِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَمَا یَخْدَعُوْنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا یَشْعُرُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Yukhaadi'oonal laaha wallazeena aamanoo wa maa yakhda'oona illaaa anfusahum wa maa yash'uroon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Fain would they deceive Allah and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realise (it) not!
