# Quran 3:93 — Surah Aali Imran (The Family of Imran), Verse 93

۞ كُلُّ ٱلطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلّٗا لِّبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ إِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تُنَزَّلَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةُۚ قُلۡ فَأۡتُواْ بِٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ فَٱتۡلُوهَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلًّا لِّبَنِیْۤ اِسْرَآءِیْلَ اِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ اِسْرَآءِیْلُ عَلٰی نَفْسِهٖ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرٰىةُ قُلْ فَاْتُوْا بِالتَّوْرٰىةِ فَاتْلُوْهَاۤ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Kullut ta'aami kaana hillal li Baneee Israaa'eela illaa maa harrama Israaa'eelu 'alaa nafsihee min qabli an tunazzalat Tawraah; qul faatoo bit Tawraati fatloohaaa in kuntum saadiqeen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth."
