# Quran 4:173 — Surah An-Nisa' (The Women), Verse 173

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ وَيَزِيدُهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَنكَفُواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ فَيُعَذِّبُهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيّٗا وَلَا نَصِيرٗا

فَاَمَّا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَیُوَفِّیْهِمْ اُجُوْرَهُمْ وَیَزِیْدُهُمْ مِّنْ فَضْلِهٖ وَاَمَّا الَّذِیْنَ اسْتَنْكَفُوْا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوْا فَیُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا اَلِیْمًا وَّلَا یَجِدُوْنَ لَهُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِیًّا وَّلَا نَصِیْرًا ۟

## Transliteration
Fa ammal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati fa yuwaffeehim ujoorahum wa yazeeduhum min fadlihee wa ammal lazeenas tankafoo wastakbaroo fa yu'azzibuhum 'azaaban aleema wa laa yajidoona lahum min doonil laahi waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, He will give their (due) rewards,- and more, out of His bounty: But those who are disdainful and arrogant, He will punish with a grievous penalty; Nor will they find, besides Allah, any to protect or help them.
