# Quran 5:100 — Surah Al-Mai'dah (The Spread Table), Verse 100

قُل لَّا يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡخَبِيثُ وَٱلطَّيِّبُ وَلَوۡ أَعۡجَبَكَ كَثۡرَةُ ٱلۡخَبِيثِۚ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَٰٓأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ

قُلْ لَّا یَسْتَوِی الْخَبِیْثُ وَالطَّیِّبُ وَلَوْ اَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِیْثِ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ یٰۤاُولِی الْاَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ 

## Transliteration
Qul laa yastawil khabeesu wattaiyibu wa law a'jabaka kasratul khabees; fattaqul laaha yaaa ulil albaabi la'allakum tuflihoon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Say: "Not equal are things that are bad and things that are good, even though the abundance of the bad may dazzle thee; so fear Allah, O ye that understand; that (so) ye may prosper."
