# Quran 5:102 — Surah Al-Mai'dah (The Spread Table), Verse 102

قَدۡ سَأَلَهَا قَوۡمٞ مِّن قَبۡلِكُمۡ ثُمَّ أَصۡبَحُواْ بِهَا كَٰفِرِينَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
قَدْ سَاَلَهَا قَوْمٌ مِّنْ قَبْلِكُمْ ثُمَّ اَصْبَحُوْا بِهَا كٰفِرِیْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Qad sa alahaa qawmum min qablikum summa asbahoo bihaa kaafireen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.
