# Quran 5:113 — Surah Al-Mai'dah (The Spread Table), Verse 113

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
قَالُواْ نُرِيدُ أَن نَّأۡكُلَ مِنۡهَا وَتَطۡمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُنَا وَنَعۡلَمَ أَن قَدۡ صَدَقۡتَنَا وَنَكُونَ عَلَيۡهَا مِنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
قَالُوْا نُرِیْدُ اَنْ نَّاْكُلَ مِنْهَا وَتَطْمَىِٕنَّ قُلُوْبُنَا وَنَعْلَمَ اَنْ قَدْ صَدَقْتَنَا وَنَكُوْنَ عَلَیْهَا مِنَ الشّٰهِدِیْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Qaaloo nureedu an naakula minhaa wa tatama 'inna quloo bunaa wa na'lama an qad sadaqtana wa nakoona 'alaihaa minash shaahideen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> They said: "We only wish to eat thereof and satisfy our hearts, and to know that thou hast indeed told us the truth; and that we ourselves may be witnesses to the miracle."
