# Quran 5:34 — Surah Al-Mai'dah (The Spread Table), Verse 34

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُواْ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَقۡدِرُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ تَابُوْا مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَقْدِرُوْا عَلَیْهِمْ فَاعْلَمُوْۤا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِیْمٌ 

## Transliteration
Illal lazeena taaboo min qabli an taqdiroo 'alaihim fa'lamooo annnal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Except for those who repent before they fall into your power: in that case, know that Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
