# Quran 5:35 — Surah Al-Mai'dah (The Spread Table), Verse 35

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱبۡتَغُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ ٱلۡوَسِيلَةَ وَجَٰهِدُواْ فِي سَبِيلِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَابْتَغُوْۤا اِلَیْهِ الْوَسِیْلَةَ وَجَاهِدُوْا فِیْ سَبِیْلِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanut taqul laaha wabtaghooo ilaihil waseelata wa jaahidoo fee sabeelihee la'allakum tuflihoon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> O ye who believe! Do your duty to Allah, seek the means of approach unto Him, and strive with might and main in his cause: that ye may prosper.
