# Quran 5:54 — Surah Al-Mai'dah (The Spread Table), Verse 54

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَن يَرۡتَدَّ مِنكُمۡ عَن دِينِهِۦ فَسَوۡفَ يَأۡتِي ٱللَّهُ بِقَوۡمٖ يُحِبُّهُمۡ وَيُحِبُّونَهُۥٓ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ يُجَٰهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا يَخَافُونَ لَوۡمَةَ لَآئِمٖۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤۡتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَنْ یَّرْتَدَّ مِنْكُمْ عَنْ دِیْنِهٖ فَسَوْفَ یَاْتِی اللّٰهُ بِقَوْمٍ یُّحِبُّهُمْ وَیُحِبُّوْنَهٗۤ اَذِلَّةٍ عَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ اَعِزَّةٍ عَلَی الْكٰفِرِیْنَ یُجَاهِدُوْنَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا یَخَافُوْنَ لَوْمَةَ لَآىِٕمٍ ذٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ یُؤْتِیْهِ مَنْ یَّشَآءُ وَاللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِیْمٌ ۟

## Transliteration
Yaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo mai yartadda minkum 'an deenihee fasawfa ya'tillaahu biqawminy yuhibbuhum wa yuhibboonahoo azillatin 'alal mu'mineena a'izzatin 'alal kaafireena yujaahidoona fee sabeelil laahi wa laa yakhaafoona lawmata laaa'im; zaalika fadlul laahi yu'teehi mai yashaaa'; wallaahu Waasi'un 'Aleem

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his Faith, soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,- lowly with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the grace of Allah, which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth. And Allah encompasseth all, and He knoweth all things.
