# Quran 6:77 — Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle), Verse 77

فَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلۡقَمَرَ بَازِغٗا قَالَ هَٰذَا رَبِّيۖ فَلَمَّآ أَفَلَ قَالَ لَئِن لَّمۡ يَهۡدِنِي رَبِّي لَأَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

فَلَمَّا رَاَ الْقَمَرَ بَازِغًا قَالَ هٰذَا رَبِّیْ فَلَمَّاۤ اَفَلَ قَالَ لَىِٕنْ لَّمْ یَهْدِنِیْ رَبِّیْ لَاَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الضَّآلِّیْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Falammmaa ra al qamara baazighan qaala haazaa Rabbee falammaaa afala qaala la'il lam yahdinee Rabbee la akoonanna minal qawmid daaalleen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> When he saw the moon rising in splendour, he said: "This is my Lord." But when the moon set, He said: "unless my Lord guide me, I shall surely be among those who go astray."
