# Quran 7:140 — Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights), Verse 140

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
قَالَ أَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ أَبۡغِيكُمۡ إِلَٰهٗا وَهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
قَالَ اَغَیْرَ اللّٰهِ اَبْغِیْكُمْ اِلٰهًا وَّهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمْ عَلَی الْعٰلَمِیْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Qaala a-ghairal laahi abgheekum ilaahanw wa Huwa faddalakum 'alal 'aalameen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> He said: "Shall I seek for you a god other than the (true) Allah, when it is Allah Who hath endowed you with gifts above the nations?"
