# Quran 7:204 — Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights), Verse 204

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ فَٱسۡتَمِعُواْ لَهُۥ وَأَنصِتُواْ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
وَاِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْاٰنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوْا لَهٗ وَاَنْصِتُوْا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa izaa quri'al Quraanu fastami'oo lahoo wa ansitoo la 'allakum turhamoon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy.
