# Quran 7:30 — Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights), Verse 30

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
فَرِيقًا هَدَىٰ وَفَرِيقًا حَقَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُۚ إِنَّهُمُ ٱتَّخَذُواْ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ أَوۡلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ

فَرِیْقًا هَدٰی وَفَرِیْقًا حَقَّ عَلَیْهِمُ الضَّلٰلَةُ اِنَّهُمُ اتَّخَذُوا الشَّیٰطِیْنَ اَوْلِیَآءَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ وَیَحْسَبُوْنَ اَنَّهُمْ مُّهْتَدُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Fareeqan hadaa wa fareeqan haqqa 'alaihimud dalaalah; innahumut takhazush Shayaateena awliyaaa'a min doonil laahi wa yahsaboona annahum muhtadoon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Some He hath guided: Others have (by their choice) deserved the loss of their way; in that they took the evil ones, in preference to Allah, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance.
