# Quran 7:48 — Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights), Verse 48

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَعۡرَافِ رِجَالٗا يَعۡرِفُونَهُم بِسِيمَىٰهُمۡ قَالُواْ مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنكُمۡ جَمۡعُكُمۡ وَمَا كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
وَنَادٰۤی اَصْحٰبُ الْاَعْرَافِ رِجَالًا یَّعْرِفُوْنَهُمْ بِسِیْمٰىهُمْ قَالُوْا مَاۤ اَغْنٰی عَنْكُمْ جَمْعُكُمْ وَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa naadaaa Ashaabul a'raafi rijaalany ya'rifoonahum biseemaahum qaaloo maaa aghnaa 'ankum jam'ukum wa maa kuntum tastakbiroon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> The men on the heights will call to certain men whom they will know from their marks, saying: "Of what profit to you were your hoards and your arrogant ways?
