# Quran 7:55 — Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights), Verse 55

ٱدۡعُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ تَضَرُّعٗا وَخُفۡيَةًۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ

اُدْعُوْا رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَّخُفْیَةً اِنَّهٗ لَا یُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِیْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Ud'oo Rabbakum tadarru'anw wa khufyah; innahoo laa yuhibbul mu'tadeen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyond bounds.
