# Quran 7:97 — Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights), Verse 97

أَفَأَمِنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُم بَأۡسُنَا بَيَٰتٗا وَهُمۡ نَآئِمُونَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
اَفَاَمِنَ اَهْلُ الْقُرٰۤی اَنْ یَّاْتِیَهُمْ بَاْسُنَا بَیَاتًا وَّهُمْ نَآىِٕمُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Afa amina ahlul quraaa ai ya'tiyahum ba'sunaa bayaatanw wa hum naaa'imoon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Did the people of the towns feel secure against the coming of Our wrath by night while they were asleep?
