# Quran 8:21 — Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War), Verse 21

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ قَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ

وَلَا تَكُوْنُوْا كَالَّذِیْنَ قَالُوْا سَمِعْنَا وَهُمْ لَا یَسْمَعُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Wa laa takoonoo kallazeena qaaloo sami'naa wa hum laa yasma'oon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Nor be like those who say, "We hear," but listen not:
