# Quran 8:43 — Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War), Verse 43

إِذۡ يُرِيكَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِي مَنَامِكَ قَلِيلٗاۖ وَلَوۡ أَرَىٰكَهُمۡ كَثِيرٗا لَّفَشِلۡتُمۡ وَلَتَنَٰزَعۡتُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَمۡرِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَلَّمَۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

اِذْ یُرِیْكَهُمُ اللّٰهُ فِیْ مَنَامِكَ قَلِیْلًا وَلَوْ اَرٰىكَهُمْ كَثِیْرًا لَّفَشِلْتُمْ وَلَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِی الْاَمْرِ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَلَّمَ اِنَّهٗ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ۟

## Transliteration
Iz yureekahumul laahu fee manaamika qaleela; wa law araakahum kaseeral lafashiltum wa latanaaza'tum fil amri wa laakinnal laaha sallam; innahoo 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Remember in thy dream Allah showed them to thee as few: if He had shown them to thee as many, ye would surely have been discouraged, and ye would surely have disputed in (your) decision; but Allah saved (you): for He knoweth well the (secrets) of (all) hearts.
