# Quran 8:57 — Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War), Verse 57

فَإِمَّا تَثۡقَفَنَّهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡحَرۡبِ فَشَرِّدۡ بِهِم مَّنۡ خَلۡفَهُمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

فَاِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِی الْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِمْ مَّنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَذَّكَّرُوْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Fa immaa tasqafannahum fil harbi fasharrid bihim man khalfahum la'allahum yazzakkaroon

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> If ye gain the mastery over them in war, disperse, with them, those who follow them, that they may remember.
