# Quran 8:58 — Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War), Verse 58

## Arabic (Uthmani script)
وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِن قَوۡمٍ خِيَانَةٗ فَٱنۢبِذۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡخَآئِنِينَ

وَاِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِنْ قَوْمٍ خِیَانَةً فَانْۢبِذْ اِلَیْهِمْ عَلٰی سَوَآءٍ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا یُحِبُّ الْخَآىِٕنِیْنَ 

## Transliteration
Wa immaa takhaafana min qawmin khiyaanatan fambiz ilaihim 'alaa sawaaa'; innal laaha laayuhibbul khaaa'ineen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> If thou fearest treachery from any group, throw back (their covenant) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms: for Allah loveth not the treacherous.
