# Quran 9:53 — Surah At-Taubah (The Repentance), Verse 53

قُلۡ أَنفِقُواْ طَوۡعًا أَوۡ كَرۡهٗا لَّن يُتَقَبَّلَ مِنكُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا فَٰسِقِينَ

## Arabic (IndoPak script)
قُلْ اَنْفِقُوْا طَوْعًا اَوْ كَرْهًا لَّنْ یُّتَقَبَّلَ مِنْكُمْ اِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا فٰسِقِیْنَ ۟

## Transliteration
Qul anfiqoo taw'an aw karhal lany yutaqabbala min kum innakum kuntum qawman faasiqeen

## English Translation (Abdullah Yusuf Ali)
> Say: "Spend (for the cause) willingly or unwillingly: not from you will it be accepted: for ye are indeed a people rebellious and wicked."
