Dua for Travelling

رَّبِّ أَنزِلۡنِي مُنزَلٗا مُّبَارَكٗا وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمُنزِلِينَ

Rabbi anzilnee munzalam mubaarakanw wa Anta khairul munzileen

"O my Lord! enable me to disembark with thy blessing: for Thou art the Best to enable (us) to disembark."

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ مَجۡر۪ىٰهَا وَمُرۡسَىٰهَآۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

bismil laahi majraihaa wa mursaahaa; inna Rabbee la Ghafoorur Raheem

"Embark ye on the Ark, In the name of Allah, whether it move or be at rest! For my Lord is, be sure, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!"

ٱللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ (٣ مرّات) لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ءَآئِبُونَ تَٰٓئِبُونَ عَٰبِدُونَ سَٰجِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَٰمِدُونَ صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ ٱلْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ (١ مرّة)

Allaahu akbar, [3 Times] Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lahoo lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa 'alaa kulli shay`in qadeer, aayiboona taa`iboona 'aabidoona saajidoona lirabbinaa haamidoon, saqallaahu wa'dahoo wa nasara 'abdahoo wa hazamal ahzaaba wahdah. [1 Time]

Allah is (the) Greatest [3 Times] None has the right to be worshipped but Allah; He is One and has no partner. All the kingdom is for Him, and all the praises are for Him, and He is Omnipotent. We are returning with repentance, worshipping, prostrating, and praising our Lord. Allah has kept up His promise and made His slave victorious, and He Alone defeated all the clans of (non believers). [1 Time]

ٱللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ (٣ مرّات) سُبْحَانَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْئَلُكَ فِى سَفَرِنَا هَٰذَا ٱلْبِرَّ وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَمِنَ ٱلْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَىٰ ٱللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَٰذَا وَٱطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ ٱللَّهُمَّ أَنتَ ٱلصَّاحِبُ فِى ٱلسَّفَرِ وَٱلْخَلِيفَةُ فِى ٱلْأَهْلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِنِّىٓ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَآءِ ٱلسَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ ٱلْمَنظَرِ وَسُوٓءِ ٱلْمُنقَلَبِ فِى ٱلْمَالِ وَٱلْأَهْلِ (١ مرّة)

Allaahu akbar, [3 Times] Subhaanalladhee sakhkhara lanaa haadhaa wa maa kunnaa lahu muqrineen, wa innaa ilaa rabbinaa lamunqaliboon. Allaahumma innaa nas'aluka fee safarinaa haadhal birra wat taqwaa wa minal 'amali maa tarda. Allaahumma hawwin 'alaynaa safaranaa haadhaa watwi 'annaa bu'dah. Allaahumma antas saahibu fis safar wal khaleefatu fil ahl. Allaahumma innee a'oodhu bika min wa'thaa'is safar wa ka'aabatil manzar wa soo'il munqalabi fil maali wal ahl. (1 Time)

Allah is (the) Greatest, [3 Times] Hallowed is He Who subdued for us this (ride) and we were not ourselves powerful enough to use It as a ride, and we are going to return to our Lord. O Allah, we seek virtue and piety from Thee in this journey of ours and the act which pleaseth Thee. O Allah, lighten this journey of ours, and make its distance easy for us. O Allah, Thou art (our) companion during the journey, and guardian of (our) family. O Allah, I seek refuge with Thee from hardships of the journey, gloominess of the sights, and finding of evil changes in property and family on return. [1 Time]
