Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَسْقَلاَنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ ذَكَرُوا الشُّؤْمَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنْ كَانَ الشُّؤْمُ فِي شَىْءٍ فَفِي الدَّارِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ ".
English Translation
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Evil omen was mentioned before the Prophet: The Prophet said, "If there is evil omen in anything, it is in the house, the woman and the horse."
