Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَزَوَّدُ لُحُومَ الْهَدْىِ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ. تَابَعَهُ مُحَمَّدٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ. وَقَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ أَقَالَ حَتَّى جِئْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ قَالَ لاَ.
English Translation
Narrated Jabir: We used to carry the meat of the Hadis (sacrificed animals) to Medina during the life-time of the Prophet .
