Arabic Text
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ أَكْلِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ " لاَ آكُلُهُ وَلاَ أُحَرِّمُهُ " .
English Translation
Ibn 'Umar reported: A person asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about the eating of the lizard, whereupon he said. I neither eat it, nor do I prohibit it.
