Arabic Text
وَحَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَبَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي زَوَّجْتُ ابْنَتِي فَتَمَرَّقَ شَعْرُ رَأْسِهَا وَزَوْجُهَا يَسْتَحْسِنُهَا أَفَأَصِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَنَهَاهَا .
English Translation
Asma', daughter of Abu Bakr, reported that a woman came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and said: I have married my daughter (whose) hair of head have fallen. Her spouse likes them (the long hair). Allah's Messenger (may add false hair to her head? He forbade her to do this.
