حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ شُجَاعِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ السَّكُونِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، - رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ - حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَلاَ إِنِّي فَرَطٌ لَكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ وَإِنَّ بُعْدَ مَا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ كَمَا بَيْنَ صَنْعَاءَ وَأَيْلَةَ كَأَنَّ الأَبَارِيقَ فِيهِ النُّجُومُ " .
English Translation
Jabir b. Samura reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Behold, I shall be present ahead of you on the Cistern, and the distance between its different sides would be like that between Sana' and Aila, and its jugs would be like stars in the sky.
