Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، سَمِعَ أَبَا، أَيُّوبَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا قَاتَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلاَ يَلْطِمَنَّ الْوَجْهَ " .
English Translation
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: When any one of you fights with his brother, he should not slap at the face.
This hadith is from Sahih Muslim, one of the most rigorously authenticated collections in Islamic scholarship. No editorial opinion is added.
