وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، - وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ - عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، - قَالَ ابْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمْ وَقَالاَ جَمِيعًا فِي حَدِيثِهِمَا عَنْ يَحْيَى، " وَمَثَلُ الْكَافِرِ مَثَلُ الأَرْزَةِ " .
English Translation
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Ka'b through another chain of transmitters but with " "the similitude of the disbeliever is that of a cypress tree".
