Arabic Text
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ " هَذَا وَقَعَ فِي أَسْفَلِهَا فَسَمِعْتُمْ وَجْبَتَهَا " .
English Translation
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abfi Huraira with the same chain of transmitters but with this change of wording that the Prophet (may. peace be upon him) said: It reached at its base and you heard its sound.
This hadith is from Sahih Muslim, one of the most rigorously authenticated collections in Islamic scholarship. No editorial opinion is added.
