Arabic Text
وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ " كَمَا يَأْذَنُ لِنَبِيٍّ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ " .
English Translation
This hadith has been narrated by Ibn Shihab with the same chain of transmitters with words: " As He listens to a Prophet reciting the Qur'an in a sweet voice."
This hadith is from Sahih Muslim, one of the most rigorously authenticated collections in Islamic scholarship. No editorial opinion is added.
