Surah Yunus (Jonah), Verse 74

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهٖ رُسُلًا اِلٰی قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآءُوْهُمْ بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ فَمَا كَانُوْا لِیُؤْمِنُوْا بِمَا كَذَّبُوْا بِهٖ مِنْ قَبْلُ كَذٰلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلٰی قُلُوْبِ الْمُعْتَدِیْنَ ۟

Thumma ba'asnaa min ba'dihee Rusulan ilaa qawmihim fajaaa'oohum bil baiyinaati famaa kaanoo liyu'minoo bimaa kazzaboo bihee min qabl; kazaalika natba'u 'alaa quloobil mu'tadeen

“Then after him We sent (many) messengers to their peoples: they brought them Clear Signs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. Thus do We seal the hearts of the transgressors.”
