Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), Verse 216

كُتِبَ عَلَیْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسٰۤی اَنْ تَكْرَهُوْا شَیْـًٔا وَّهُوَ خَیْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسٰۤی اَنْ تُحِبُّوْا شَیْـًٔا وَّهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَاللّٰهُ یَعْلَمُ وَاَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ 

Kutiba alaikumulqitaalu wa huwa kurhullakum wa 'asaaa an takrahoo shai'anw wa huwa khairullakum wa 'asaaa an tuhibbo shai'anw wa huwa sharrullakum; wallaahu ya'lamu wa antum laa ta'lamoon

“Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.”
